Where Design
Meets Home.

Three teams. One timeline. No handoffs.

Strategy, staging, and design — coordinated on a single timeline. We don’t just list your home, we transform it.

HUNDREDS OF HOMES SOLD
15+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
DESIGNED TO SELL.

Most listings begin the day they go live. Yours begins six weeks earlier.

Our Method is one founder running design, staging, and listing on a single timeline. Steve coordinates with GoWest Home Design and GoWest Staging, sister companies, so the prep, presentation, and pricing all answer to the same plan. The result: a home that meets the market already finished.

Act One

Strategize.

"What is this house — and what could it become?"

Every great transformation begins with a clear understanding of where we are. We start by bringing in a trusted, independent home inspector—an objective set of eyes to give us the complete picture of the property’s health. From there, Steve walks the space, looking through the dual lens of a designer and a real estate strategist. Together, we look at the house as it is today, envision what the market is actively paying a premium for, and build a bridge between the two. You’ll walk away from this first phase with a clear, tailored roadmap: exactly what to repair, what to elevate, what to leave alone, and the target price we’re aiming for.

Method: Independent third-party inspection + designer-led property read, with a written prep plan.

Act Two

Prepare.

"Who's going to actually do the work, and will it slip?"

With our strategy in place, your written roadmap becomes a seamless reality. Steve steps in to orchestrate the entire process, working in lockstep with our sister companies, GoWest Home Design and GoWest Staging. We manage everything on a single, streamlined timeline—from fresh paint and updated lighting to placing the perfect furniture in exactly the right rooms. For you, it means zero stress: one dedicated project manager, one fluid sequence, and just one person to call whenever you have a question.

Timelines are estimates and depend on scope, permitting, and third-party trade availability.

Method: Single integrated schedule across design, prep, and staging.

Act Three

Price.

"It's a different house now. Why price it like the old one?"

As the home transforms, its place in the market comes into sharper focus. Rather than locking into a price on day one, we wait to evaluate the spectacular, finished product against the most up-to-date market data. This allows us to set a thoughtful, realistic price—one that maximizes the improvements we’ve made and is strategically positioned to generate momentum and attract eager buyers.

Method: Re-comp against the finished home, not the original one.

Act Four

Reveal.

"After all the work, who sees it first?"

A beautiful home deserves a strategic introduction. Instead of crossing our fingers with a standard MLS drop, we engineer a measured, multi-tiered launch. By guiding your property through the Compass sequence—Private Exclusive, Coming Soon, and then Go Live—we generate early momentum while protecting your days on market. Paired with gorgeous editorial photography and a carefully curated launch list, your home’s reveal is designed to maximize visibility and intrigue.

Method: Compass 3-Phase distribution — Private Exclusive · Coming Soon · Go Live.

How We Work

Working with Steve isn't just hiring a real estate agent — it's gaining a partner who brings design, staging, and a smart pricing strategy to every listing. The quotes below are from sellers and buyers across Marin, San Francisco, and the wider Bay Area.

I have worked with over 100 agents easily, and Steve is one of the best.

Steve F. Seller · Marin County

No one does what Steve does. He brings value through design, repair, expert staging, and smart pricing strategy that has sold 3 homes for us — with great results!

Gabe B. Seller · Marin County

We've worked with a fair share of real estate agents, but no one even comes close to Steve West. His personalized attention is unsurpassed. No details of the preparation are overlooked — and he has an exquisite eye for staging. He truly goes above and beyond what one would expect of a real estate agent.

Dr. Jorna Buyer · San Francisco

Steve is a dedicated collaborator in your home-buying experience. I was a first-time buyer with more doubts and questions than buying ambition, and Steve helped alleviate my concerns every step of the way. With a reliable network of contacts in every facet of homeownership, you can rest easy knowing Steve will have your back.

Breck P. Buyer · San Francisco

Steve isn't just trying to sell a house, but to make sure his clients are able to move and settle into a home they love. For 2+ months after our house closed, Steve continued to help us through the renovation and move-in process. One Friday night at 10pm, we realized our house keys were stolen — we texted Steve and he immediately put us in contact with a locksmith. We 100% have Steve in our speed dial.

Ms. Yan Buyer · San Francisco

As both a real estate agent and interior designer, Steve knows all the right questions to ask and has a keen eye for detail. He provided ample ideas around furnishing and customizing the home, transforming it from a dream home to a personal oasis. If I ever have future design projects, I know he'll be the first person I call.

Kaitlyn Buyer · Marin County

Steve is an incredible stager and real estate agent. Within a week of Steve having the listing we had a buyer — even in the crazy world of COVID and no open houses. So responsive, proactive, and incredibly committed. We absolutely recommend working with Steve for staging, selling, anything real estate related.

Jessica G. Seller · Marin County

We met Steve 7 years ago as first-time buyers. Fast forward to the pandemic, we were ready to buy our forever home with a lot more criteria — and we found it. Steve managed to get all inspections arranged in an incredibly timely fashion. I am incredibly grateful to Steve and would highly recommend him to anyone buying or selling in the Bay Area.

Archana Buyer · Bay Area

Steve knows exactly what a buyer is looking for when purchasing a home and guided us in preparing our house for market. He meticulously and artfully staged our home while managing timelines to get us to market as quickly as possible. We celebrated the close of sale 4 weeks after we went to market and couldn't be happier.

Lexie Seller · San Francisco

We had 18 offers and I got a price much higher than I thought I would get. The staging was truly outstanding — unique and not the usual vanilla staging everyone else does. Steven's negotiating skills are masterful. I can enthusiastically recommend him — he gives 110% to his work and clearly loves what he does.

Dr. Rivero Seller · San Francisco

Over the past decade, Steve has helped us buy our first home, remodel our kitchen, buy a second home and sell our first home. He is honest, sincere and always looking out for our best interests. He is tremendously resourceful beyond just buying and selling homes. Would definitely recommend Steve to anyone in the Bay Area.

Viggy Buyer & Seller · Bay Area

Steve is the hardest working real estate agent I have met. I was able to leave my home to him knowing it was in good hands. Our home was on the market and under contract within a week and sold for over ask. All of our expectations were exceeded and I highly recommend Steve.

Taylor Seller · Marin County

Steve helped me purchase my first home in San Francisco. His expertise in the market is superb, as is his eye for details that a first-time buyer may easily overlook. He is hardworking, personable, kind and resourceful. When the time comes for me to sell, I cannot imagine working with someone else.

Oguz Buyer · San Francisco

Steve and his team found an ideal house for us in the Oakland Hills with loads of character and gorgeous views. He even went out of his way, using his own time and energy, to help me renovate and upgrade my old SF condo, then marketed and sold it for me. If you need a realtor who really knows the Bay Area market and knows how to get things accomplished, I highly recommend Steve.

Andrew Buyer & Seller · Bay Area

Most of our friends could not believe how far above and beyond Steve was going to help us with our remodel after we purchased our house. We could not recommend Steve more to everyone we know. Steve worked quickly to resolve every bump in the road and always responds in a fast, calm and helpful manner — even in moments of panic.

Meaning "beautiful sight" in Italian, Belvedere earns its name completely. One of California's smallest and most exclusive cities, it occupies two islands and a lagoon connected to the Tiburon Peninsula by causeways — almost entirely surrounded by San Francisco Bay. With fewer than 1,000 residences, it is among the most coveted addresses in the entire Bay Area.

The Character

Belvedere's residential landscape spans Belvedere Island's grand hillside estates, Corinthian Island's mix of walkability and architectural character, and the calm lagoon community ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding. Historic homes designed by Julia Morgan (architect of Hearst Castle) and Albert Farr sit alongside midcentury moderns, Cape Cods, and contemporary masterpieces — many with private docks. Secret stairways and hand-painted lane markers preserve a 19th-century character unique to the island.

Water & Recreation

Life in Belvedere revolves around the Bay. Two world-class yacht clubs — the San Francisco Yacht Club and the Corinthian Yacht Club — anchor the sailing community. Morning walks along quiet shoreline streets, afternoons on the water, evenings watching city lights appear across the bay. The Belvedere Lagoon offers protected waters for non-motorized watercraft. Sunny 260 days a year, with coastal breezes keeping the air fresh.

Schools

Belvedere is served by the Reed Union School District — repeatedly recognized as one of the best elementary districts in the nation. Reed, Bel Aire, and Del Mar schools score consistently in the highest tiers of California's Academic Performance Index. High school students attend Redwood High School.

Daily Life

Belvedere's quiet, residential character means its neighbor Tiburon provides most of the dining and shopping — a short walk or drive away. Nugget Market and Woodlands Market handle the essentials. The newly renovated Belvedere playground has become the most popular park in southern Marin. For those who commute, the Tiburon Ferry offers a peaceful ride to the San Francisco Ferry Building.

Defining the concept of a quiet urban retreat, it offers almost total residential seclusion, deeply unique topography, and some of the most breathtaking, unobstructed ocean views on the West Coast.

Locals also enjoy traversing the quieter, botanical-themed Hidden Garden Steps, creating a beautifully deliberate and artistic way to move through the neighborhood.

Daily life revolves around two distinctly different, yet equally iconic thoroughfares. The pulsing heart of The Castro at Market Street offers electric energy, historic nightlife, and the iconic neon marquee of the Castro Theatre. Just over the hill, Noe Valley’s 24th Street corridor provides a completely different pace, serving as a bustling, highly walkable village lined with independent bookstores, organic bakeries, upscale children's boutiques, and a wildly popular weekend farmers market.

Parks & Recreation

Because of the area's unique, fog-blocking microclimate, outdoor living is a massive draw. Residents easily flow between the world-famous Dolores Park—a sprawling, terraced lawn perfect for weekend picnics and city views—and the steep, rugged hiking trails of Corona Heights and Twin Peaks. For families, the Noe Valley Town Square and local courts provide dedicated spaces for daily neighborhood gathering.

City Connections

Despite the neighborhood-centric feel, this area represents one of the most efficient transit hubs in the city. The underground Castro Muni station and the scenic J-Church light rail offer rapid, predictable commutes straight into the downtown financial core. Additionally, the central-southern location provides direct, easy access to the 101 and 280 freeways, making it a highly strategic launchpad for tech commuters heading down the peninsula.
